Sunset beach, located in the City of Geraldton, has experienced recent erosion trends. The project addresses coastal erosion by increasing dune stability using brushing and direct seeding. The project also includes the construction of three 40m long low-crest Geotextile Sand Container (GSC) groynes, and the import of 7000m3 of sand for beach nourishment.
