Sunshine Beach Bushland Care undertook weed control (including WoNS), rehabilitation and revegetation of dunes between access points. Work was carried out with the community to repair eroded areas, using jute, logs, hardwood stakes and hay bales, and revegetated with multi-strata endemic plants. The revegetation works have been maintained to reinstate dune stability, and to increase biodiversity and the area of habitat for wildlife.
