Shoalwater and Corio Bay sites are subject to a number of threats including feral pigs, invasive plants, marine debris, inappropriate fire regimes and habitat degradation. This project reduced threats and contributed to the maintenance and/or improvement of the ecological character of the site by working with site managers to implement feral animal and weed control, marine debris collection, habitat remediation and continued coordination of site management across multiple jurisdictions and stakeholders.
